DESCRIPTION:The Church of the Good Shepherd on Lookout Mountain is offering a special Eucharist service on Thursday\, July 30\, at 1 pm\, to cap off a recent study of the book of Revelation.\n\nThe original recipients of this extraordinary pastoral letter would have heard it read aloud during a worship service that culminated in the celebration of communion. We plan to experience that for ourselves with a Eucharist service that includes a dramatic reading of the complete Revelation by professional actress Kate Forbes\, hymns drawn from its texts\, and a sermon by The Rev. Michele Simmons summarizing the most important and inspirational things we learned (and unlearned!) while studying the book.\n\nAll are welcome to join us! Dress comfortably for this extended reading.
