Revelation Eucharist

The Church of the Good Shepherd on Lookout Mountain is offering a special Eucharist service on Thursday, July 30, at 1 pm, to cap off a recent study of the book of Revelation.

The original recipients of this extraordinary pastoral letter would have heard it read aloud during a worship service that culminated in the celebration of communion. We plan to experience that for ourselves with a Eucharist service that includes a dramatic reading of the complete Revelation by professional actress Kate Forbes, hymns drawn from its texts, and a sermon by The Rev. Michele Simmons summarizing the most important and inspirational things we learned (and unlearned!) while studying the book.
