The vision of Good Shepherd School is to be an exciting, nurturing community where the students, teachers and parents learn and live in daily affirmation of God’s love.
What We Do
Trinity for Kids
Wednesdays at 4:30 pm beginning in September and continuing through the school year. A curriculum of Godly Play Bible stories followed by art, music, and movement response time.
Sunday School
Godly Play Bible stories and response time for pre-school through 5th grade students. Begins at 10:30 am in the Godly Play classrooms through the school year.

Wednesday Night Youth
6:30-7:30 pm, Wednesdays in the Youth Building. Pizza, prayer, games and bonding. A time to re-center and decompress for 6th-12th grade students.
Breakfast and Sunday School
Beginning at 10:30 am in the Youth Building.
Men’s Bible Study
Wednesdays at 7:00 am in the parish hall.
Wednesday Night Study
Wednesdays at 6:45 pm in the parish hall following Shepherd’s Night Out through the school year.
Thursday Bible Study
Thursdays at 10:30 am in the Library.
Lectionary Bible Study
Sundays at 9:15 am in the Library.
Coffee and Conversations
Sundays at 9:15 am in the Lupton Reading Room.
Adult Choir
Responsible for leading congregational singing at the 10:30 am service on Sundays, the Adult Choir comprises volunteer singers supported by professional staff singers. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:45 pm in the choir room, with a hiatus in summer.
Choristers
For children in grade 3 through middle school. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm during Trinity for Kids, and Sundays after church (11:45 am-12:30 pm) in the choir room with a hiatus in summer.
Bell Choir
Anyone with interest and some experience of reading musical notation is invited to contact our music director, John Wigal, for more information at jwigal@gslookout.com.
From serving others pastorally within our church community, to serving those in the Chattanooga area and beyond through volunteering or grant support, Good Shepherd has many ways to serve others within and beyond our local community.
