Good Friday is the one day in the Church Year when the Holy Eucharist is not celebrated, as the Church mourns the death of the Messiah. But so as not to be denied the benefits of his Passion in the Sacrament, the tradition arose around keeping vigil with the consecrated Bread and Wine from Maundy Thursday night until the time of its distribution on Good Friday. We invite you to participate in the watch by signing up for one or two 60-minute slots at https://bit.ly/KeepWatch2023 which may be done in the Narthex Prayer Corner or at home.
